School History
Some facts about Alan B. Shepard MS:
Alan B. Shepard Middle School was founded in 1970.
The school was named after Alan Bartlett Shepard, the first American to travel into space in 1961.
Our mascot is the Cougar, but we used to be called the Shepard Patriots until 2009!
The school was renovated in 2002, adding a new hallway between the A and B buildings and a new wing (which is now the library).
Our school colors are Red, White, and Blue.
