Accessing eBooks

1. Download the Sora app or visit https://soraapp.com/ in your browser.
2. Click the green "Find My School" button. Sora will suggest some nearby schools. If you don't see "South San Antonio Ind School District 908," then click "My school isn't listed."
3. Type in your zip code, and look for "South San Antonio Ind School District 908." Click "This is my school" to continue.
4. Click the green button - "Sign in to South San Antonio Ind School District 908."
5. On the next page, select "Log in with Google."
6. Enter your school email address. It is usually in the format of first initial, last name, last 4 numbers of your ID, and an @ sign followed by student.southsanisd.net. (For example: astudent1234@student.southsanisd.net)
7. You should now be able to borrow books from the South San ISD library catalog.
8. You should also add the San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) to your Sora account, so you can borrow books from their catalog, too. Click the 3 black lines in the upper right corner of the Sora screen (also known as the "hamburger" icon).
9. Click the green and white plus sign next to "Add a Library."
10. Type "San Antonio" into the search box under "Find My Library." 
11. Look for "San Antonio Public Library" and click the green "This is My Library" button under the word "BRANCHES."
12. You should now be able to borrow books from the San Antonio Public Library catalog.
