Mrs. Adriana White

I love everything about libraries - books, technology, makerspaces, and more. I believe that everyone loves a good story, and my job as a librarian is to share amazing stories in multiple formats - books, ebooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, picture books, and so many more.

I also hope to inspire students to tell their own stories. I am a freelance writer and an aspiring children's book author. My essays about neurodiversity and mental health in children’s books have appeared on websites like KQED MindShift and We Need Diverse Books. I also advise educators and librarians about the importance of these books through workshops and presentations.

Before becoming a librarian, I was a special education teacher for five and a half years. I previously worked at the UTSA John Peace Library and the Seguin Public Library. I have two Master's degrees - one in Library and Information Science from UNT and one in Education from UTSA. I also enjoy writing, traveling, and playing video games.

Welcome to the library!
